...Freezing Fog Through Mid Morning...

.Areas of freezing fog with locally dense fog will impact the mid
state this morning. Visibilities less than a quarter mile have
shown up across the mid state this morning, with satellite and
observation trends showing fog coverage increasing in locations
near bodies of water and low lying areas. Use caution if traveling
through the mid morning hours as freezing fog could result in
some slippery surfaces in addition to reduced visibilities across
the region.

...FREEZING FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST THIS MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Freezing
Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CST this morning.

* TIMING...Through 9 am this morning.

* VISIBILITY...Less than 1/4 mile at times.

* IMPACTS...Slick roads are possible, especially on bridges and
  overpasses in areas of dense fog. Use caution while driving as
  visibility can change quickly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Freezing Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Also,
be alert for frost on bridge decks causing slippery roads.
