Note that Thanksgiving Day is typically the fourth Thursday in the month of November.
This was not always the case and this did not become a law until Dec 26th 1941 under
President Roosevelt.
Otherwise...1863 was when the official observance of Thanksgiving began. Thanksgiving
has always occurred during the last 10 days of November. The only exception
came in 1865 when Thanksgiving was observed on Dec 7th. Our climate records for Nashville
