PUTNAM COUNTIES UNTIL 815 PM CDT...

At 727 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Watertown, or 12 miles southwest of Carthage, moving east at 15 mph.

Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Watertown, Gordonsville, Hickman, South Carthage, Alexandria,
Dowelltown, Center Hill Lake and Edgar Evans State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
