The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Macon County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 515 PM CDT.

* At 311 PM CDT...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
  heavy rain due to thunderstorms causing minor flooding in the
  advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Lafayette, Red Boiling Springs and Bugtussle.

This includes the following streams and drainages...White Oak Creek
including White Oak... Long Fork including Pumpkintown and Sycamore
Valley...Echo Creek including Pleasant Valley, New Harmony, and
Beech Hill...Puncheon Creek including Green Valley and
Williams...West Fork Long Creek including Rocky Mound, New Zion, and
Haysville...Goose Creek including Meadorville and Hillsdale...Salt
Lick Creek including Red Boiling Springs and the city of Lafeyette.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated and
ponding of water may occur in urban or other poor draining areas.
