...Patchy Locally Dense Fog Possible Through The Mid Morning
Hours Today...

Cloud coverage is expected to increase from west to east as the
early morning into the mid morning hours progress. However, ahead
of this increasing cloud coverage, skies are expected to remain
generally clear and winds should continue to be calm or light.
Thus, already, patchy fog has formed and is locally dense in some
locations. The potential for patchy fog, locally dense, will
decrease from west to east as the early into the mid morning hours
progress. However, in locations that continue to experience clear
to mostly clear skies, it has the potential to persist through
the mid morning hours.

Patchy locally dense fog will result in difficult driving conditions
and could affect the morning rush hour commute, especially across
eastern portions of the mid state. If driving, slow down, allow
extra time to travel to your destination, use low beam headlights,
and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Patchy fog, locally
dense, should burn off after 9 AM CDT.
