...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN SMITH...NORTHERN
WILSON AND SOUTHERN TROUSDALE COUNTIES UNTIL 445 AM CDT...

At 410 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Mount Juliet, or near Lebanon, moving east at 60 mph.

Dime size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Lebanon, Carthage, Hartsville, Mount Juliet, Gordonsville, Belinda
City, Rural Hill, South Carthage, Tuckers Crossroads, Dixon Springs
and Dickerson Chapel Recreation Area.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 223 and 251, and between mile
markers 253 and 258.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 75 and 76.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
