  Duck River Near Hurricane Mills AFFECTING Humphreys County

.The Duck River Near Hurricane Mills remains high, and will remain
above action stage through today, but is expected to drop below
action stage tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Advisory continues for
  The Duck River Near Hurricane Mills
* Until Monday evening.
* At 08AM Sunday the stage was 21.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to near 21.3 feet by tomorrow morning.
* At 22.0 feet...Portions of Tumbling Creek Road east of Highway 13 are flooded
  and may be impassable.
* At 20.0 feet...Portions of Tumbling Creek Road east of Highway 13 begin to
  flood and there is significant flooding of agricultural land along the river
  from Bucksnort, to Taylortown and Cedar Grove.
* At 16.0 feet...Flooding of agricultural land and other low lying areas along
  the river begin to flood from Bucksnort, to Taylortown and Cedar Grove.
