...The National Weather Service in Nashville, Tn has issued a flood warning for
the following rivers in middle Tennessee...

  Buffalo River Above Flat Woods AFFECTING Perry and Wayne Counties

.Water levels on the upper portions of the Buffalo River continue to rise and
Flood Stage has been reached at Flat Woods. Levels will continue to rise
through this afternoon and moderate flooding is possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid flooded areas along the river...And move personal belongings to higher
ground. Never drive through flooded roads as the depth of water may be too great
to pass...Even in trucks or sport utility vehicles. If you come across a flooded
road...Turn around don't drown.

* Flood Warning for
  The Buffalo River Above Flat Woods
* From this afternoon until Saturday afternoon.
* At 01PM Thursday the stage was 22.4 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* At 22.0 feet...Portions of Old Highway 13 near the gauge begin to flood. Other
  low lying areas along the river from northern Wayne County to near Linden in
  Perry County also begin to flood.
