...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Alabama...
Tennessee...

  Shoal Creek Near Iron City AFFECTING Lauderdale and Lawrence Counties

. Runoff from recent rains has caused Shoal Creek near Iron City to climb into
Flood Stage.  The forecasted crest has been reevaluated and should only get
as high as 19.0 feet, remaining in Flood Stage through Friday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid flooded areas along the river...And move personal belongings to higher
ground. Never drive through flooded roads as the depth of water may be too great
to pass...Even in trucks or sport utility vehicles. If you come across a flooded
road...Turn around don't drown.

Stay tuned to NOAA weather radio or other local media for further information
from the National Weather Service.

...Flood Warning extended until 03/02 14:30...The Flood Warning continues for
  The Shoal Creek Near Iron City
* Until Friday morning.
* At 3 AM Thursday the stage was 15.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 19.0 feet by this evening. The river
  will fall below flood stage tomorrow morning.
* At 14.0 feet...Flooding of low lying areas along Shoal Creek begins.
