...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN COFFEE AND
SOUTHEASTERN BEDFORD COUNTIES UNTIL 1130 AM CDT...

At 1059 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles west of Tullahoma, or 8 miles southeast of Shelbyville, moving
southeast at 40 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Shelbyville, Tullahoma, Wartrace, Normandy, Raus and Arnold AFB.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
