FOR NORTHEASTERN DE KALB...NORTHWESTERN WHITE AND SOUTHWESTERN PUTNAM
COUNTIES...

At 550 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Baxter, or 7
miles southwest of Cookeville, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Algood, Baxter, Burgess Falls State Park, Hamptons
Crossroads and Bakers Crossroads.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 271 and 291.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
