The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Smith County in Middle Tennessee...
  Jackson County in Middle Tennessee...
  Southwestern Clay County in Middle Tennessee...
  Eastern Macon County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 530 PM CDT.

* At 331 PM CDT, doppler radar indicated and local law enforcement
  reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain and flash flooding
  across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain has fallen in the
  past hour across the warned area, with up to three to five inches
  of rain having fallen so far today. Flash flooding is expected to
  begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Lafayette, Gainesboro, Red Boiling Springs, Granville, Whitleyville
  and Cummins Falls State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
