...Heat Index Values 100 to 105 Degrees West of Cumberland Plateau
Region Expected This Afternoon...

Heat index values for multiple locations west of the Cumberland
Plateau Region are already in the mid to upper 90s. As afternoon
high temperatures rise into the low to mid 90s for locations west
of the Cumberland Plateau Region, heat index values are expected
to range between 100 to 105 degrees. Please exercise caution while
participating in outdoor activities this afternoon. Wear light
clothing, drink plenty of water, and remember to check on the
young, the elderly, the homeless, and outdoor pets/animals. Visit
