...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN COFFEE AND
SOUTHEASTERN BEDFORD COUNTIES UNTIL 245 PM CDT...

At 223 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Tullahoma, or 9 miles northeast of Lynchburg, moving east at 20 mph.

Dime size hail, winds in excess of 40 mph, frequent cloud to ground
lightning strikes, and brief heavy rainfall will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Tullahoma, Normandy, Raus and Arnold AFB.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
