SUMNER...NORTHWESTERN WILSON...WEST CENTRAL MACON...WESTERN TROUSDALE
AND SOUTHEASTERN ROBERTSON COUNTIES UNTIL 930 PM CDT...

At 840 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a couple strong
thunderstorms near Ridgetop and Cross Plains, moving east
at 40 mph.

Brief wind gusts to 40 mph will be possible with these storms. Winds
this strong are capable of breaking branches from trees and can
sometimes topple shallow rooted trees.

Locations impacted include...
Gallatin, Lebanon, Hendersonville, Goodlettsville, White House,
Millersville, Greenbrier, Westmoreland, Ridgetop, Cross Plains,
Bethpage, Bledsoe Creek State Park, Dickerson Chapel Recreation Area
and Cottontown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy downpours are also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to ponding in low lying areas.
