...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR PERRY COUNTY UNTIL 715 PM CDT...

At 646 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Parsons, or 11 miles southeast of Natchez Trace State Forest, moving
east at 50 mph.

Brief wind gusts to 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Linden, Lobelville and Mousetail Landing State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Heavy downpours will also occur with this storm, and may cause brief
ponding of water in low lying areas.
