The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern Overton County in Middle Tennessee...
  Southern Jackson County in Middle Tennessee...
  Central Putnam County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 100 AM CDT.

* At 1226 AM CDT, one severe thunderstorm was located near
  Gainesboro, and another severe thunderstorm was located near
  Algood. Both storms were moving southeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Cookeville, Gainesboro, Dodson's Branch, Algood, Monterey,
  Crawford, Rickman and Cummins Falls State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 290 and 303.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

building.
