The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  South central Overton County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northeastern White County in Middle Tennessee...
  Putnam County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 913 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cookeville,
  moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Cookeville, Algood, Monterey, Baxter and Hamptons Crossroads.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 277 and 304.
