...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 AM CDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN DICKSON...NORTHEASTERN PERRY...SOUTHEASTERN HUMPHREYS
AND NORTHWESTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES...

At 736 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms still producing
heavy rain across the warned area, although storms were beginning to
exit parts of the region. Still, many areas received two to three
inches of rain in a relatively brief time span. Runoff is still
occurring and so flash flooding remains a threat even in locations
where the rain has diminished or ended altogether.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lobelville, Pinewood and Bucksnort.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 141 and 166.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
