The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  North central Sumner County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northeastern Robertson County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 915 AM CDT.

* At 620 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Doppler radar estimates two to three inches of rain have fallen
  thus far in some parts of the advisory.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Cross Plains, Portland, Orlinda, Mitchellville and Black Jack.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 115 and 121.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
