At 1032 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Kingston Springs, or near Ashland City, moving southeast at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Ashland City, Nashville, Brentwood, Goodlettsville, Forest
Hills, White Bluff, Belle Meade, Kingston Springs, Pegram, Burns,
Bellevue, Fairview, Joelton, Pleasant View, Bells Bend, Whites Creek,
Natchez Trace At Highway 96, Beaman Park and Leipers Fork.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
