The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southwestern Van Buren County in Middle Tennessee...
  Southern Warren County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northwestern Grundy County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 815 PM CDT.

* At 611 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms continuing to develop across the area. Radar
  estimates up to two inches of rain have fallen in the past couple
  of hours. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area,
  mainly in low lying areas and low water crossings.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Irving College, Altamont, Beersheba Springs and Viola.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
