URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...Snow will cause hazardous travel conditions in Middle Tennessee...
...Dangerous wind chills expected tonight...

.A band of snow was located across northwestern and north central
Middle Tennessee early this morning, and is forecast to continue
moving southeastward during the day. Accumulating snow is expected
to occur everywhere, with amounts ranging from 3 to 6 inches in
the winter storm warning area, to between one and 3 inches
elsewhere. Very cold air will move in with the snow, with
temperatures dropping out of the 20s, through the teens and,
eventually, into the single digits by this evening. wind chills of
minus 1 to minus 3 can be expected over the north by this evening,
with dangerous wind chills expected over all of the Mid-State
tonight. Wind chills of minus 5 to minus 10 will be common by late
tonight.

Roads will become snow covered and slippery and, with temperatures
remaining below freezing until Thursday, the snow will stick
around for a couple of days.

  Total snow accumulations of one to three inches are expected.
  Expect dangerous wind chills tonight to range between minus 5

* WHERE...Eastern Middle Tennessee, including the cities of
  Crossville, Jamestown, McMinnville and Manchester.
