...The flood advisory continues for the Cumberland River...

  Cumberland River At Nashville AFFECTING Davidson County

. Recent rainfall and dam releases upstream have caused the Cumberland River at
Nashville to rise above action stage. The Cumberland at Nashville is expected to
remain above action stage for several days.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Advisory continues for
  The Cumberland River At Nashville
* Until Sunday morning.
* At 04AM Wednesday the stage was 32.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* The river will continue to rise to near 33.1 feet by tomorrow morning.
* The river will continue to fall to near 33.1 feet by tomorrow morning.
* At 35.0 feet...Low lying areas along the river from the I-24 bridge to the
  I-65 bridge are significantly inundated, including riverfront recreation areas
  and access points near Nissan Stadium. Industrial properties along the river
  should monitor further increases in river levels.
* At 34.0 feet...Water reaches the second grassy area of the riverfront landing
  and covers most of the recreation areas on the east side of the river near
  Nissan Stadium.
* At 32.0 feet...Further inundation of low lying areas along the river is
  occurring including the riverfront landing and receation areas near Nissan
  Stadium.
* At 30.0 feet...Water reaches the first grassy area of the riverfront landing,
  and the access point on the east side of the river near Nissan Stadium.
* At 25.0 feet...The riverfront recreation areas on both sides of the river
  begin to be inundated.
