...Heavy Rain and Flooding Possible Tonight into Early Sunday...

.A strong low pressure system will move through Middle Tennessee
tonight, with additional heavy rainfall and strong storms expected.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
overnight. This will fall on ground that is pretty saturated, and
will drain into streams and rivers that are already running high
due to previous heavy rainfall. Therefore, localized flash
flooding and river flooding are possible during and after this
heavy rain event.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

The Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
  Cheatham, Clay, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Houston,
  Humphreys, Jackson, Lewis, Macon, Maury, Montgomery, Perry,
  Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale,
  Williamson, and Wilson.

* Through late tonight

* 1 to 2 inches of rain, with locally higher amounts possible,
  on top of already saturated ground.

* Isolated flash flooding is possible, and area rivers and
  streams are going to increase. Those who experienced flooding
  this past week and are in the current Flood Watch are urged to
  pay special attention to rainfall accumulations as flooding is
  expected to return to those locations.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor latest forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
