Flood Watch
National Weather Service Nashville TN
440 PM CST Wed Feb 21 2018

...Widespread Flooding Possible as Early as Tonight and
Continuing into the Weekend...

.A series of upper level storm systems will cause occasional
moderate to heavy rainfall in Middle TN tonight through at least
Saturday. The first system tonight and Thursday will bring rain
amounts of up to 2 inches in the northwest counties with much
lighter amounts on the Plateau. Some showers are possible Friday
but rain chances and amounts will increase sharply Friday night
through Saturday. By the time rains end on Sunday morning, storm
total amounts should range from 1 to 2 inches on the Plateau up to
4 or 5 inches over northwestern portions of the midstate. With
grounds already saturated...and area rivers and stream levels
still high from previous rains...river flooding as well as
flooding outside of rivers may occur tonight through at least
Saturday especially over north and west parts of Middle Tennessee.
