...The flood advisory continues for the Cumberland River...

  Cumberland River At Nashville AFFECTING Davidson County

. Water releases from Old Hickory Dam in addition to forecasted heavy rain
beginning on Wednesday will cause the Cumberland River at Nashville to
remain above action stage through at least Thursday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Advisory is extended for
  The Cumberland River At Nashville
* Until Thursday morning.
* At 10PM Tuesday the stage was 31.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* The river will continue to rise to near 31.7 feet by tomorrow morning.
* The river will then fall to near 29.8 feet by Thursday morning.
* At 32.0 feet...Further inundation of low lying areas along the river is
  occurring including the riverfront landing and receation areas near Nissan
  Stadium.
* At 30.0 feet...Water reaches the first grassy area of the riverfront landing,
  and the access point on the east side of the river near Nissan Stadium.
* At 25.0 feet...The riverfront recreation areas on both sides of the river
  begin to be inundated.
