...Light snow accumulations possible this evening...

Light rain is expected to develop across Middle Tennessee this
morning, with rain becoming widespread by afternoon. As a strong
cold front sweeps across the area from northwest to southeast
later today, the rain is forecast to mix with and changeover to
light snow for a few hours along and east of the I-24 corridor
before ending by midnight.

Some light snow accumulations may occur this evening, with a
dusting to a few tenths of an inch of snow possible along the
I-24 corridor including the Clarksville and Nashville metro
areas. A half inch to an inch of snow is possible in the Upper
Cumberland, with around an inch of snow on the Cumberland
Plateau.

With temperatures falling into the teens and 20s on Thursday night
into Friday morning, some travel impacts could develop across the
Upper Cumberland and Cumberland Plateau if and where any snow can
accumulate on roadways.

Please monitor the latest forecasts concerning this potential
snowfall later today and any possible travel impacts.
