...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND GUSTY
WINDS MOVING ACROSS THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU THIS AFTERNOON...

At 340 PM CST, radar indicated a large area of rain with some
embedded thunderstorms moving across the Cumberland Plateau and
surrounding areas this afternoon.

Some minor localized flooding is possible along with wind gusts
around 30 mph. The heavy showers should end by 5 PM CST, but some
showers may linger into the early evening.

Locations impacted include...
Murfreesboro, Cookeville, Lebanon, Shelbyville, McMinnville,
Crossville, Manchester, Sparta, Smithville, Lafayette, Livingston,
Woodbury, Carthage, Jamestown, Spencer, Celina, Gainesboro,
Byrdstown, Hartsville and Tullahoma.

Torrential rainfall may cause localized flooding. Do not drive your
vehicle through flooded roadways.
