...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN LEWIS...NORTHERN
MAURY...NORTHEASTERN PERRY AND HICKMAN COUNTIES UNTIL 1145 PM CDT...

At 1101 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms,
with heavy downpours, along a line extending from 6 miles northwest
of Hohenwald to near Spring Hill. Movement was northwest at 30 mph.

Some of these storms will likely move across parts of Perry County
and Hickman County that received several inches of rain from storms
earlier in the evening. Therefore, any additional downpours will
quickly lead to ponding of water in low lying areas, and possibly
some minor flooding. Motorists should exercise appropriate caution
when traveling through areas of heavy rain and avoid areas of ponded
water. Brief wind gusts to 30 mph are also possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Centerville, Spring Hill, Lobelville, Santa Fe, Kimmins,
Pleasantville, Williamsport, Primm Springs and Nunnelly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
