.Areas of dense fog have formed across parts of the Cumberland
Plateau and southern Middle Tennessee. The fog is especially dense
near lakes and rivers. Travelers should slow down and exercise
caution this morning. The fog should lift by around 9 AM CDT.

...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning.

* LOCATIONS...Cumberland Plateau and southern Middle Tennessee
  including Celina, Cookeville, Livingston, Jamestown, Columbia,
  Lewisburg, Murfreesboro, Woodbury, Smithville, Crossville,
  Shelbyville, Manchester, Waynesboro, Lawrenceburg, and Pulaski.

* VISIBILITY...Near zero in some areas.

* IMPACTS...Hazardous travel conditions, especially near lakes and
  rivers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...
use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
