...Patchy Freezing Fog Possible Through The Mid Morning Hours...

Patchy Freezing Fog, locally dense, has begun to form across
Middle Tennessee during the early morning hours. Most locations
that are presently experiencing freeze fog are near bodies of
water. However, usual low lying fog prone development locations
could experience patchy freezing fog formation, locally
dense, also over the next few hours. Freezing fog will result in
super-cooled water droplets depositing a thin clear coating of ice
on exposed surfaces, like roadways, sidewalks, bridges, and
overpasses. Exercise caution while commuting on area roadways
along with walking on outdoor surfaces. Patchy freezing fog should
burn off after 9 AM CDT.
