This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Middle
Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

There is a moderate risk of severe thunderstorms (level 4 out of
5) on Thursday across Middle Tennessee, with the highest risk
along and west of I-65. Two rounds of thunderstorms are expected
across Middle Tennessee on Thursday - the first round in the
morning, then the second main round in the afternoon and evening.

A line of weakening strong to possibly severe thunderstorms will
move into western Middle Tennessee on Thursday morning. These
storms may contain gusty winds and hail west of I-65 before
dissipating by mid Thursday morning.

Additional severe thunderstorms are expected to develop across
west Tennessee on Thursday afternoon, then move eastward across
all of Middle Tennessee through Thursday evening. These severe
storms will likely contain large hail, damaging winds, and
possibly several tornadoes. The highest risk for severe storms
will be west of I-65, with a decreasing threat as you move east
of I-65.

A Wind Advisory is also in effect for the western two-thirds of
Middle Tennessee, generally along and west of a line from
Shelbyville to Lafayette. Strong south winds of 15 to 25 mph with
occasional gusts over 40 mph are expected Thursday afternoon and
evening.

Spotter activation is requested for all Middle Tennessee counties
on Thursday.
