...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM CDT FOR WAYNE
AND PERRY COUNTIES...

At 720 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated light to moderate rain
continues across the advisory area. Radar estimates over 4 inches of
rain has fallen in parts of Perry and Wayne Counties today, with the
heaviest rainfall occurring along Highway 412 west of Linden, and
along Highway 64 east of Waynesboro. These areas are likely to see
minor flooding, especially in low lying and poor drainage areas.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Waynesboro, Linden, Collinwood, Clifton, Lobelville, Mousetail
Landing State Park, Busseltown, Cypress Inn, Flatwoods, Lutts and
Iron City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
