This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Middle
Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hot and humid conditions will continue today, with heat indices
across Middle Tennessee, with the exception of the Cumberland
Plateau, topping out at 100 to 105 degrees during the afternoon
and early evening. Mid state residents are therefore urged to
schedule outdoor activities during cooler parts of the day.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Heat indices of 100 to 105 degrees will last into Thursday before
cooler weather moves in. A cold front will sweep through Middle
Tennessee on Friday, bringing an increased chance of thunderstorms
to the mid state. Strong to severe storms are possible starting
late Thursday and lasting through Friday. The primary threats are
damaging straight-line winds and torrential rainfall.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be necessary from late Thursday through
Friday.
