JACKSON...EAST CENTRAL WILSON AND NORTHWESTERN PUTNAM COUNTIES UNTIL
500 PM CDT...

At 409 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles south of Red Boiling Springs to
Gordonsville to near Watertown. Movement was east at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and torrential downpours will occur with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Livingston, Carthage, Gainesboro, Algood, Watertown,
Baxter, Gordonsville, Hickman, South Carthage, Tuckers Crossroads,
Pleasant Shade, Rickman and Granville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
