...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTH CENTRAL DICKSON AND
SOUTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES UNTIL 1000 PM CST...

At 937 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles southwest of Clarksville, moving southeast at 30 mph.

Nickel size hail, winds in excess of 40 mph, frequent cloud to
ground lightning strikes, and brief heavy rainfall will be
possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Slayden, Cunningham and Palmyra.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
