Areas affected...Northeast Arkansas into Tennessee

Concerning...Severe potential...Watch unlikely

Valid 071328Z - 071530Z

SUMMARY...Storms may persist today into Tennessee into southern
Kentucky, with a possible damaging wind and marginal hail threat
redeveloping.

DISCUSSION...A line of storms currently extends from northeast AR
into western TN, with only a marginally wind and hail threat
currently. Soundings from around the region show strong mean wind
speeds but only weak instability ahead of these storms. During the
day, instability will gradually develop eastward across the OH and
TN valleys, which may support rejuvenated storms with mainly a wind
threat.
