  Buffalo River Above Flat Woods AFFECTING Perry and Wayne Counties

. Recent heavy rainfall has caused the Buffalo River Above Flat Woods to rise above
action stage. Elevated river levels are expected to continue through Sunday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The Flood Advisory continues for
  The Buffalo River Above Flat Woods
* Until Sunday evening.
* At 11 PM Saturday the stage was 15.9 feet.
* Action stage is 15.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* The River is expected to remain in action stage through Sunday.
* At 15.0 feet...Water begins to inundate low lying agricultural land along the
  river from northern Wayne County to near Linden in Perry County.
