...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN WAYNE AND
SOUTHWESTERN LAWRENCE COUNTIES UNTIL 1015 PM CDT...

At 939 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
...with torrential downpours...9 miles west of Loretto, or 18 miles
north of Florence, moving slowly east northeast at 10 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Loretto, St. Joseph, Westpoint and Iron City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Due to the slow movement...some areas in the path of this storm
could received as much as 1 to 2 inches of rain in only an hour.
This may result in ponding of water in low lying areas...and
localized flooding of poorly drained areas.  Do not drive your
vehicle through flooded roadways.
