...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR LEWIS...WAYNE...PERRY...
HUMPHREYS AND HICKMAN COUNTIES UNTIL 1130 PM CDT...

At 1050 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms
extending from 8 miles southwest of Hurricane Mills to 11 miles southwest
of Linden to near Walnut Grove. Movement of the line was east at about
25 mph...while individual storms were moving northeast 40 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms. Due to
recent heavy rains, and wet ground, shallow rooted trees may be
blown down.

Locations impacted include...
Hohenwald, Centerville, Waynesboro, Linden, Collinwood, Clifton,
Lobelville, Cypress Inn, I-40 Near The Tennessee River, Bucksnort,
Lutts, Pinewood and Pleasantville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
