THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF MIDDLE
TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS MAY BECOME STRONG LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND
EARLY EVENING. SMALL HAIL AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS WILL BE POSSIBLE
FOR AREAS SOUTH OF I-40 AND WEST OF I-65 STARTING AFTER 3 PM AND
LASTING THROUGH 8 PM.

COLD AIR IS EXPECTED PUSH IN BEHIND TODAY'S SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS AND PRESENT MIDDLE TN WITH ITS FIRST CHANCE FOR
SNOW THIS YEAR. LIGHT RAINS ARE EXPECTED TO BEGIN CHANGING OVER TO
ALL SNOW BY 2 AM FOR AREAS WEST OF I-65 AND BY 4 AM EAST OF I-65.
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO ONE HALF INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE ON THE
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU AND A DUSTING TO ONE QUARTER OF AN INCH
POSSIBLE ELSEWHERE IN THE MID-STATE. THE BEST CHANCE FOR SNOW
ACCUMULATION WILL BE ACROSS COUNTIES CLOSER TO KENTUCKY. COUNTIES
CLOSER TO ALABAMA WILL LIKELY NOT SEE ANY SNOW ACCUMULATION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

SNOW FLURRIES ARE EXPECTED TO PERSIST INTO THE MORNING HOURS ON
SUNDAY. WHILE ANOTHER TENTH OF AN INCH IS POSSIBLE BY 9 AM ON THE
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU...NO ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED FOR
ANYONE ELSE IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

SPOTTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO REPORT ANY SEVERE WEATHER OR SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS OF GREATER THAN A TRACE TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER
SERVICE.
