...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHERN PERRY...NORTHERN WAYNE
AND CENTRAL LEWIS COUNTIES UNTIL 700 PM CST...

At 620 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles southwest of Linden, moving east at 60 mph.

Half inch hail, winds in excess of 40 mph, frequent cloud to ground
lightning strikes, and brief heavy rainfall will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Hohenwald and Flatwoods.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to temporarily minor localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle
through flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
