The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
  Northern Alabama
  Extreme Northwest Georgia
  Parts of Middle and East Tennessee

* Effective this Sunday morning from 105 AM until 500 AM CST.

* Primary threats include...
  Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible

SUMMARY...Band of thunderstorms along a cold front will continue
eastward across northern AL and Middle/East TN for the next few
hours.  The strongest storms will be capable of producing isolated
damaging gusts, before the storms weaken prior to sunrise.

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45
statute miles east and west of a line from 60 miles northeast of
Crossville TN to 85 miles southwest of Huntsville AL. For a complete

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
