THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

AS RAINS COME TO AN END EARLY MONDAY MORNING...SURFACE TEMPERATURES
ARE EXPECTED TO FALL BELOW FREEZING FOR AREAS NORTH AND WEST OF A
LINE FROM WAVERLY TO LAFAYETTE...AS WELL OF PATCHY SPOTS ON THE
CUMBERLAND PLATEAU. BECAUSE OF THIS...SOME FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL
BE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS. DUE TO SUNDAY'S WARMER TEMPERATURES...
ONLY VERY LIGHT ICE ACCUMULATIONS ON ELEVATED SURFACES AND TREE
LIMBS WILL BE POSSIBLE BETWEEN 2 AM AND 8 AM MONDAY MORNING. ROAD
SURFACES SHOULD REMAIN IN GOOD CONDITION THROUGHOUT THIS TIME
FRAME. TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO CLIMB BACK ABOVE FREEZING
AFTER 8 AM. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND AS YOU HEAD OUT FOR THE
MONDAY MORNING COMMUTE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

A WARM FRONT MOVES NORTH OF THE MID STATE ON TUESDAY FOLLOWED BY
THE APPROACH AND PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT ON WEDNESDAY. LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL MAY OCCUR...ESPECIALLY WHEN THE COLD FRONT
APPROACHES TUESDAY NIGHT. THE TWO DAY RAIN TOTAL IS EXPECTED TO
AVERAGE MAINLY BETWEEN ONE AND TWO INCHES. LOCALIZED FLOODING
COULD BECOME A PROBLEM...ESPECIALLY TUESDAY NIGHT.

MUCH COLDER AIR SWEEPS IN WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT CHANGING
THE RAIN TO A MIX OF SNOW AND SLEET. SOME ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW
AND SLEET ARE POSSIBLE...WHICH COULD PRODUCE SLICK ROADWAYS.
TEMPERATURES WILL FALL THROUGH THE 30S AND INTO THE 20S WEDNESDAY
NIGHT.

SPOTTERS AND LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS ARE ENCOURAGED
TO REPORT ANY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...HEAVY RAINFALL...OR FLOODING...
