THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP FRIDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUE
THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING ON SUNDAY. NEARLY ALL OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE
IS UNDER A MARGINAL RISK OF SEVERE STORMS ON SATURDAY AND SATURDAY
EVENING.

MOST OF THE RAINFALL WILL OCCUR ON SATURDAY...WITH STORM TOTAL
AMOUNTS BETWEEN 1.5 AND 2.5 INCHES ACROSS THE AREA. LOCALIZED MINOR
FLOODING AND RIVER RISES MAY OCCUR WITH THIS RAIN EVENT.

STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL ALSO OCCUR ON SATURDAY...STARTING MID
MORNING THROUGH THE LATE EVENING. WIND SPEEDS BETWEEN 15 AND 25
MPH AND GUSTS TO 40 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING THE DAY ON
SATURDAY.

.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...

SPOTTERS AND LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS ARE ENCOURAGED TO
REPORT SEVERE STORMS AND HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS TO THE NATIONAL
WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE.
