...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...

THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS TO
DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...ESPECIALLY NORTH OF I-40.
PRIMARY THREATS LOOK TO BE LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING WINDS...AND
ISOLATED TORNADOES. THE TIMEFRAME FOR SEVERE POTENTIAL LOOKS
TO BE FROM AROUND NOON UNTIL 8 PM OR SO.

INITIAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EARLY THIS MORNING SHOULD MOVE
OUT OF THE AREA BY AROUND 10 AM. BY LATE MORNING AND INTO THE
AFTERNOON...THE ATMOSPHERE WILL BECOME VERY UNSTABLE AND HAVE THE
POTENTIAL TO DEVELOP SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. AGAIN THE PRIMARY
THREAT IS LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS BUT ISOLATED TORNADOES
ARE POSSIBLE AS WELL.

WHILE STORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE...DRYING THIS AFTERNOON MAY HELP
LIMIT STORM COVERAGE.
