...The flood advisory continues for the Duck River...

  Duck River At Columbia AFFECTING Maury County

.Up to 3.00 inches of rain fell across the basin over the last 24 hours...which
has caused a rise on the Duck River at Columbia. The river is forecast to rise
above action stage Wednesday morning and crest just below flood stage by late Thursday afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Advisory continues for
  The Duck River At Columbia
* Until Thursday afternoon.
* At 08PM Tuesday the stage was 23.1 feet...and rising.
* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
* The river will continue to rise to near 31.5 feet by tomorrow evening.
* At 32.0 feet...Flood waters overflow the banks and low lying areas near
  Columbia begin to flood.
