...The National Weather Service in Nashville, Tn has issued a flood advisory for
the following rivers in middle Tennessee...

  Duck River At Columbia AFFECTING Maury County

.Up to 3.00 inches of rain fell across the basin over the last 24 hours...which
has caused a rise on the Duck River at Columbia. The river is forecast to rise
above bankfull stage by around sunrise Wednesday and crest just below flood
stage by late Wednesday afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* At 10AM Tuesday the stage was 19.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
* The river will continue to rise to near 31.5 feet by tomorrow evening.
* At 32.0 feet...Flood waters overflow the banks and low lying areas near
  Columbia begins to flood.
