...LIGHT SNOW FOR PARTS OF THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU AND NEARBY AREAS
THROUGH THE AFTERNOON...

LATE THIS MORNING...PATCHES OF LIGHT SNOW CONTINUED TO MOVE OVER
THE SOUTHEAST COUNTIES OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE AND PARTS OF THE
PLATEAU. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS UP TO ONE HALF INCH WERE REPORTED FROM
THE MONTEAGLE AREA...TO ALTAMONT AND SPENCER. A DUSTING OF SNOW
WAS ALSO REPORTED AT MANCHESTER.

LOOK FOR SOME ADDITIONAL SNOW ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST COUNTIES OF THE
MID STATE AND PLATEAU THROUGH THE AFTERNOON. TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS
ARE EXPECTED TO BE LESS THAN ONE INCH. TRAVELERS SHOULD BE
PREPARED FOR SOME SLICK AND SNOW COVERED ROADS...ESPECIALLY BACK
ROADS ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS.

SKIES WILL CLEAR OUT THIS EVENING ACROSS THE AREA...BUT VERY COLD
TEMPERATURES WILL MEAN THAT SOME SLICK SPOTS COULD REMAIN ON ROADS
THROUGH THE NIGHT.
